In 2026, the large-scale nickel industrial park network energy storage power distribution project jointly built by Chinese enterprises and Indonesian Salin Group was officially completed and put into operation. It has become a benchmark project for the intelligent and stable control upgrade of industrial power distribution in Indonesia. It has effectively solved the core pain points of insufficient power distribution stability, large load fluctuations, and high energy consumption costs in Indonesian heavy industrial parks. This project focuses on Indonesia's pillar nickel smelting industry and is specifically adapted to industrial high-impact load power consumption scenarios.

As a gathering place for high-energy-consuming industries, the Indonesian Nickel Industrial Park has difficulty adapting the traditional distribution network to the instantaneous high-power load fluctuations of smelting equipment. Voltage fluctuations, harmonic excesses, short-term tripping and other problems frequently occur, which not only affects production efficiency, but also easily causes equipment losses. This project innovatively uses a networked energy storage system to replace traditional power distribution voltage stabilizing equipment, which can achieve millisecond-level power support and voltage frequency adjustment, quickly smoothen industrial load impacts, accurately control grid harmonics, and comprehensively improve industrial power distribution quality and power supply reliability.

After the project is put into operation, the stability of the park's power distribution system has been greatly improved, completely eliminating production interruptions caused by load fluctuations. At the same time, arbitrage of peak and valley power price differences and redundant power storage and utilization can be realized, which can save 800,000 kilowatt hours of industrial power every day and save more than 80 million yuan in annual electricity bills. The successful implementation of this project provides a new energy storage power distribution solution for high-energy-consuming industrial scenarios such as mining, smelting, and chemicals in Indonesia. It promotes the upgrade of Indonesian industrial power distribution from traditional regulated power supply to intelligent flexible power supply, and has strong industry replication and promotion value.
