Function and Application
The HR3 series fuse-type isolating switch is suitable for use in AC 50Hz, 380V distribution systems with a rated current up to 1000A, as a short-circuit protection and overload protection for cables and conductors. Under normal conditions, it can be used to manually connect and disconnect normal load currents and overload currents without frequent operations. In the event of a short circuit, the fuse will break the current, but it is generally not used for directly opening and closing individual motors.
