Function and Usage
The NJR2-G multi-machine soft start control cabinet is designed to save equipment investment, reduce costs, and effectively utilize the floor space of the control cabinet. It uses a single soft starter as the main control unit, and is equipped with bypass contactors for controlling the corresponding number of motors. First, the soft starter controls the first motor to start softly. Once the starting is completed, the corresponding bypass contactor connects the first motor directly to the power grid. Similarly, the soft starter can control the second and third motors to start softly. Since the built-in soft starter is naturally air-cooled, and heat is generated during each start-up. Therefore, it is advisable that the interval time between starting each motor should be more than 5 minutes to ensure that no overheat protection occurs during the entire starting process and to improve the reliability of the product. The core component inside this product is the NJR2-D soft starter.
